Yamaha Other description

I have a 1997 Yamaha Vmax for sale. Asking $4750 OBO. It currently has 19k miles. It is very fast. NOT a beginner bike. This bike is 1 you better buckle up for. A true wolf in sheep's clothing. It is a comfortable cruiser with a severe anger management issue. It has Supertrap exhaust and Stage one carb kit, drag bars, drilled rotors. Newer tires front and back. The rims were originally black. They were stripped and polished. Hi way foot pegs to keep you comfortable on long rides. This bike has been gone thru. Several new parts. Fuel pump, intake boots(all) have been changed. New battery and chrome reservoir covers. It is very fast and loud. The Yamaha Vmax has been out since 1985 and has always been the muscle bike to have. It was named fastest production bike for many years. It has 1200cc's of pure power. If you aren't familiar with these bikes, you should look them up. Very fast, very comfortable and VERY affordable considering the ridiculous amount of bike for the money.Clean AZ title in my name. Call, email or text Al for more details. 602.999.1342No test rides without money in hand. MY HAND.. Serious buyers only. MAY CONSIDER TRADES. SERIOUS OFFERS WITH PICS ONLY. No services. No Boats. Prefer cash sale. Yamaha XSR900 wins again

Sun, 09 Apr 2017

Yamaha's roadster now has one more achievement on the long list - this time the bike was awarded with the prestigious Red Dot Award for design. It is the fifth in a row for this model and the fifth for the company. Not bad huh!

This picture of me chasing Foggy on the Daytona banking in 1991 brought back some bitter sweet memories recently. I did half a season as his team mate on the Silkolene RC30s before scurrying off to Japan to ride a factory Yamaha Superbike. I’ve never been a quitter but I felt the team that year was gear stretched running two riders so it was a case of last in first out.

Yamaha to Produce PES1 and PED1 Electric Motorcycles by 2016

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

Yamaha announced plans to release the production versions of its PES1 and PED1 concept models within two years as part of the company’s plans to enter the electric motorcycle segment. The PES1 and PED1 (which stands for “Passion, Electric, Street” and “Passion, Electric, Dirt”) concepts were first revealed at last November’s Tokyo Motor Show. In the company’s newly-published annual report, Yamaha confirmed plans to produce the two models, saying: “In sports motorcycles, we are working to create new value with EV sports motorcycles, which we aim to launch in two years, with the development of the small, on-road sports PES1, as well as the PED1, which are being developed to expand the scope of electric vehicles to the off-road world.
