Yamaha Other description

1997 Yamaha Rt100 , This is an older bike but it's in great working condition. Starts up and runs great. Is in very good cosmetic condition and everything works like new. Has a 100cc 2 stroke, oil injected engine and a 5 speed manual transmission. The engine has recently been professionally rebuilt, the cylinder is bored out to .050 and it has a new oversized .050 piston and rings. Also has new air filter, fuel lines, spark plug, gaskets, and carburetor rebuilt professionally. This bike would be a great beginner bike, it's fast but easy to ride and handles good. I'm the original owner and it has been taken care of and maintained regularly since I bought it. Comes with a matching helmet and original owner's manuals. If you have any questions about this bike, please feel free to email me. Sold as is. $750.00

Rossi Makes Progress but Hayden Suffers Shoulder Setback

Wed, 01 Feb 2012

Ducati continues to develop its Desmosedici GP12 MotoGP race bike, setting modest goals while trying to establish a good setup. Already trailing the other factory teams in development time for its race prototypes, Ducati continued to try to find good base settings for the GP12. Valentino Rossi achieved the team’s goal of lapping under two minutes and two seconds with a time of 2:01.886 while completing 44 laps on the second day of testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.

Our Magnificent seven

Remember to dust your Union Jacks down if you happen to be visiting any Grand Prix this year as we have no less than seven youngsters to cheer on in the junior Moto GP classes. I don’t think we’ve ever had this many ‘yoofs’ in the GP paddock so let’s hope they can do the business and bring an end to our long drought of Grand Prix titles. And that could be soon as Scott Redding is already a hot favourite for the 2011 Moto 2 championship on his Marc VDS Suter machine.

"That's one small step for man..."

Fri, 02 Oct 2009

TO CELEBRATE the 40th anniversary of man's first steps on the moon, Fiat Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo will wear an astronaut-style paint job on his helmet at this weekend's Portuguese GP. The Spaniard's lid has been sprayed to look a little like a spaceman's helmet and has Neil Armstrong's immortal words: "That's one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind" written on the rear. Let's just hope Lorenzo doesn't launch himself this weekend.
