Yamaha Other description

This is an unrestored but very nice 1975 DT125. I bought this bike as a package deal along with a CT3 which is the bike I wanted for my own collection.
I did not do anything to this bike except charge the battery, start it up, and drive it around the block. This bike runs perfect. The clutch and trans work just as they should. All the lights work even the high beam indicator. The horn works and so does the electric start, although you will need a good Yuasa battery to be able to use the electric start. Generic batteries just don't have enough power.

The bike has only 1796 original miles which I believe to be original; the CT3 that came with it has only 1500 miles and since both bikes were bought new by the same owner, I have no reason to doubt the mileage.

If you will need to have the bike shipped, I will be happy to store it for you until you can make arrangements. I used to collect motorcycles, so I know how stressful it can be until you are able to get your new bike home. I check my email every day and I will cooperate with you in every way to help make things go smoothly.
If you have any questions or want addition picture, just email me and I will respond promptly.
Thank you,
Josh

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.

Hero MotoCorp Reports Sales of 541,615 Motorcycles and Scooters in December 2012

Fri, 04 Jan 2013

Whenever we publish stories about the motorcycle industry in India, we still get comments from readers surprised at how big a role that nation’s market plays, and perhaps more poignantly, how small it makes the U.S. market look. The latest sales numbers from Hero MotoCorp, India’s market leader, should further highlight the importance of India’s motorcycle market.

FANCY AN ex-Carl Fogarty Harris Yamaha YZR500? A rare chance to acquire the machine ridden by King Carl in the 1992 British Grand Prix has come up on eBay. It's a V4 screamer, recently restored by 500cc guru Nigel Everett and features a host of top notch accessories, including Marchesini wheels, 320mm carbon discs and AP six-pot calipers, to name just a few.
