I have 2 1974 yamaha ty80's for sale. The 1st is all original and in good condition for its age, runs well and has current regerstration. I had a custom seat made for it to match the original it looks awesome. The 2nd one is in fair condition it will come with a bill of sale. It has newer trials tires. These bikes are very hard to find, they climb great and are fun to ride even for a adult. I am asking $1,250 for the pair, I may be willing to separate for the right price. Wed, 20 Nov 2013Yamaha has released additional images and a video of its new PES1 electric motorcycle for the concept’s debut at the Tokyo Motor Show. The new photographs, shot at Yamaha’s display at the Tokyo show, show more details about the PES1 concept, which Yamaha first announced earlier this month. The PES1 shares the same electric DC brushless motor, lithium-ion battery and monocoque frame as the PED1 concept which also took its bow in Tokyo.

Their secret for being so good at what they do is that they totally immerse themselves in Yamaha by working at the Yamaha offices. Hilarity ensues. James Toseland works the mail room, while Colin Edwards does security, quoting Eric Cartman from a 10 year-old-South Park episode. Jorge Lorenzo is washing windows and Valentino Rossi is working the front desk.

Sat, 19 Mar 2011Just because you have the name Jorge Lorenzo on your screen and you've won a world championship doesn't mean you'll get an easy time at scrutineering. In Qatar the technical inspection staff made the factory Yamaha mechanics remove bodywork and unbolt some electrical components in order to get a better look at the guts of the 2011 M1. Everything was in order of course but what a great opportunity for the scrutineers to exercise their power and have a poke around the most high tech Yamaha on the planet.
