1978 Yamaha GT80
Running barn find. Fresh oil change, new spark plug and battery. Bike runs like a top. Starts in a few kicks and shifts through all gears with no issues. I weigh 215lbs and speedo showed 45mph!! Typical condition as you'd expect from a bike that's been sitting. Used and abused. Tires cracked but hold air. No broken switches. Original Yamaha key for ignition and matching seat lock. Original Yamaha handlebar protector. Gas tank has been red sealed. (Before I got the bike) Rumored to have a fairly new top end job and bottom end was gone through. 2,700 original miles!! NO TITLE!! AMA Superbike Racer Larry Pegram To Race On Four Wheels This Weekend
Thu, 08 Aug 2013Foremost Insurance/Pegram Racing SuperBike rider Larry Pegram will be back in racing action this weekend but, instead of being aboard his familiar #72 Yamaha YZF-R1 SuperBike, Larry will be behind the wheel of a PRO Buggy sponsored by RealTree Outdoor Energy Drink. The PRO Buggy class features rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive, purpose-built racing buggies with lots of suspension travel and lots of horsepower. Pegram is no stranger to car racing, having done a few road racing events last year, but he’s excited about the opportunity to kick up some mud this weekend at RedBud MX in Buchanan, MI, as part of The Off-Road Championship (TORC) series.
MotoGP Teams Complete First Sepang Pre-Season Test
Thu, 06 Feb 2014Preparations for the 2014 MotoGP Championship are well underway, with the first pre-season test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit complete. As the first test of the year, we shouldn’t take too much stock into the results, but they do provide a basis for later comparison. Reigning World Champion Marc Marquez was the fastest rider on all three days of the Sepang test.
