Yamaha FJR description

2006 Yamaha Fjr1300 AE, 2006 Yamaha FJR1300AE. This is the computer controlled clutch model. Purchased in February 2013 from a Yamaha Dealer with 12,217miles. Ridden only 1,450 miles since. The warranty is transferable to the buyer at no charge, after an inspection by a Yamaha dealer. The warranty is in effect until 2-25-15. This motorcyce is in excellent mechanical condition and in very good cosmetic condition. There are a few straches in the side covers and body work. SEE PHOTOS. I have installed a new windscreen and passenger back rest. The tires are in very good condition. This is a very comfortable sport touring bike that is a blast to ride. I have a positive motorcycle history report for review. This is a very nice bike offered at a fair price, with a warranty. $6,800.00

Yamaha’s reason for doing this is to shift the heavy end of the motor more to the center of the motorcycle to make it more agile and responsive.  Slanting the cylinder also made for a straighter pathway for the air intake at the front of the bike.

Yamaha revealed the first 2012 models from its Star Motorcycles brand of cruisers, the V Star 950 and V Star 950 Tourer. The 2012 V Star 950 (and the more touring-oriented V Star 950 Tourer) is powered by a fuel-injected air-cooled 942cc 60 degree V-Twin engine with a five-speed transmission. Yamaha estimates fuel economy at 47 mpg from the 4.5 gallon tank.
