TC Brothers hard tail, powder coated frame, XS Charge permanent magnet alternator kit, high output digital ignition, air ride solo seat, powder coated wheels with new spokes, re gasketed engine, powell peralta "Bones" skateboard wheel chain tensioner, battery eliminator capacitor, pinstriped peanut tank and golan petcock, new rear tire, TC Brothers forward controls, heat wrapped scrambler exhaust, mild apes, New old inventory carburetors, kick start only. Runs like it should, ready for summer. This will be the second summer for this build. On the 11th January 1962, Steve Hislop was born in Hawick, Scotland. Today would have been his 50th birthday, but he was tragically killed in a helicopter accident in 2003. Hizzy was a genius on a motorbike and when he was happy with everything around him, he was amongst the best in the world.

The racing season may be over but the winter nights will surely fly by as we watch reviews, debate events of 2012 racing and relish the excitement that lays ahead in 2013. Unfortunately retirement seems to be popular right now so with major names leaving BSB, WSB and Moto GP things will never quite be the same. I’m still in shock that Casey Stoner has decided to head back home for a spot of fishing.
