Welcome bidders! I have many issues of the MPH News Letter which I will be listing over time. Please check my other listings. Free Priority shipping on all within the USA. Thanks for looking! This auction offers a full year 12 issues of the publication "MPH" The News Letter of the VINCENT HRD Owners Club. You will receive 12 issues - January to December 1962. The news letters are fairly small - approx 28 to 44 printed pages. Dimensions are 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Inside pages have no marks, writing, or folding, except the January issue which displays faint marks on interior pages. Staples are excellent. There is a musty odor from long term storage which will dissipate over time. The front and back exterior covers do display marks. Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction Rakes In $1.8 Million
Mon, 16 Jan 2012A collection of classic motorcycles including some owned by the Du Pont family was auctioned by Bonhams in Las Vegas, with sales reaching $1.8 million, nearly double the pre-auction estimates. The auction included 50 motorcycles and 113 lots of spare parts from the Du Pont family including some from the personal collection of E. Paul du Pont, founder of Du Pont Motors and one-time president of Indian Motorcycles.
2012 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Class Nominees Announced
Tue, 03 Apr 2012The American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation released its list of nominees for the AMA Hall of Fame Museum induction class of 2012. The 26 nominees represents a wide range of contributions to motorcycling, from motocross champions and Daytona 200 winners to tuners to motorcycle rights advocates. The selection committee will further trim the list down to six individuals, three from competition categories and three from non-competition categories.
Bonhams To Auction Bruce Smith Collection Of Original Illustrations
Fri, 11 Oct 2013On October 20, Bonhams will be auctioning off a collection of original illustrations by Bruce Smith from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one will be signed by Smith on heavy cartridge paper. The collection is comprised of cutaway illustrations of a 1963 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc, Chris Vincent’s 1964 BSA 650cc A65 Race Outfit, and a 1966 Greeves Racer, the largest of this series being 45cm x 62cm.
