Day 9 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Increases Overall Lead

Sand and dunes challenged the athletes especially in the final third of the stage, demanding excellent navigation skills.

Not to discount Himmelmann’s win, but the most remarkable thing about the race is how much faster the electric-powered motorcycles lapped the Bugatti circuit this year.
