Triumph Trophy description

Stop looking at those beaters and get a top shelf Item.

2001 Triumph TT600 in Excellent all around condition.  600TT  = Tourist Trophy

First thing I invite you to do is check my feedback for motorcycles & cars sold from my private collection and see what the buyers had to say about them...

SOLD:   '09 Harley XR 1200;   '97 Suzuki RF900;   '02 Honda VTR1000;   '06 Dodge Magnum 6.1 Hemi;   '02 Buell White Lightning;   '94 Suzuki Katana 750;  and many more over the years...

I'm getting too old to maintain all of the bikes any more.

Clean Title in my name and address...I am the 2nd owner.

Caspian Blue with silver trim...What might look like any paint marks is Light reflection from camera.

All gauges, lighting and everything else works 100%.

3,860 miles at this time (three thousand eight hundred sixty)...May have more as I'm riding with the excellent weather.

The machine is 12 & 1/2 years old and I decided to do many maintenance items based on age.  There is nothing wrong at all mechanically or cosmetically with the bike.

New chain & sprockets (didn't need them, I just decided to do it)  EK Chain, JT Sprockets - stock sizes

New K&N Air Filter

New Oil & Filter

New Anti Freeze/Coolant

Brand New Continental "Contimotion" Tires front & rear

The machine is clean, over, under, around and through.

Starts first time, every time.  Runs smooth, runs excellent.  Needs NOTHING.

All service records and replacement parts receipts for tires, etc  on hand.

Includes Owners Manual & Original Tool kit.

If you are looking for a motorcycle that is ready to go and you won't be spending money on and having dealer servicing as soon as you get it home - then this is the bike for you.  It is a sound, solid bike ready to go anywhere.

*I would not call this a beginners bike - it requires some motorcycling experience and I reserve the right to refuse to sell it to someone that I think is NOT capable of operating it.

I personally will not ship the bike - BUT I will assist YOUR shipper in any way I can.

I will not deliver the bike.

This is a CASH ONLY  transaction.

Overseas scammers, go elsewhere with your games & gimmicks.

NO Test rides  - uninsured, unregistered at this time.

Again, I invite you to check my feedback on bikes I have sold.

Got questions?  Ask me.

Triumph to Sponsor Jason DiSalvo Speed Academy

Wed, 18 Apr 2012

Triumph Motorcycles has signed a sponsorship agreement with Jason DiSalvo‘s riding school. The 2011 Daytona 200 winner rides a Triumph Daytona 675R for the Latus Motors AMA Daytona Sportbike team so it’s no surprise the British manufacturer is sponsoring the Jason DiSalvo Speed Academy. DiSalvo also raced for Triumph-backed BE1 World Supersport team, and though he left the team on rather murky terms, DiSalvo and Triumph enjoy a strong working relationship.

Street Triple gets a Yoshi boost

Fri, 21 Jan 2011

Yoshimura, the purveyors of fine aftermarket exhausts have put the heads together for these fine looking high-level cans for the Triumph Street Triple. According to the PR; the exhausts offer a considerable gain in performance over the stock items (dyno results below), with a significant weight reduction. The stock exhausts top the scales at 7.2kg and with the top-of-the-range carbon slip-ons, the weight is shaved down to 3.5kg.

Recall for 2010 Triumph Thunderbird

Mon, 16 May 2011

Triumph Motorcycles is starting a recall campaign on certain 2010 Thunderbird cruisers due to a problem with the front fender fasteners. On certain 2010 Triumph Thunderbirds, including some ABS-equipped units, the four screws on the front fender mounts may come loose. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the plating used on the fender mounting included friction modifiers which are not compatible with the thread lock compound used on the screws.
