Triumph Trophy description

1967 Triumph Trophy Chopper.
Easy rider scheme, it gets a lot of looks and pictures on the road.

Completely restored and on running game order. New carburator ,  coil, electronic ignition  ( makes it easy to start ). New tank, light etc. etc. Motor is original.
It has an antique license plate, and as such never needs inspection .
I just used it to go to shows and Prisons with CMA. as a discussion starter.

I'm getting to old to ride  it.
I live in South East Texas and am willing to meet you half way with the bike on the trailer.

The title says 1976 but the bike was actually made in 1967, according to the VIN, but that's because my dyslexia confused the inspection shop.

Own a piece of unique American history .

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?

Tue, 30 Dec 2008

A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
