I should have filed this blog an hour earlier but I became distracted by the human circus that is the Jeremy Kyle show. It’s a shameful admission, I know, but I’m a firm believer in the policy of honesty being the best. Enjoying the luxury of working from home, I was only making myself a bacon sandwich with the TV on in the background when excited cries of ‘Freak, Freak!’ from Mrs MF drew my attention to this (see pic).Mon, 18 Nov 2013 00:00:00 -0800
With all the new motorcycles Triumph presented earlier this month at the 2013 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, we were hoping to see the company’s new 250cc models. Unfortunately, the new small-displacement Triumph models (which made our list of Top 10 Motorcycles to Watch For at EICMA) were not yet ready to be revealed, though Triumph did offer us a glimpse of what to expect, with a sketch of its 250 sportbike. At Milan, the company referred to the sportbike as “Triumph’s New 250″, though it will get a proper name when it’s officially, presented as a 2015 model, likely at next year’s EICMA show or at Intermot in Cologne, Germany.Tue, 08 Nov 2011 00:00:00 -0800
Powered by an all-new 1215cc three-cylinder engine producing a class-leading 135bhp with 89lb-ft. of torque, the Tiger Explorer sports a high specification that Triumph thinks will set a new benchmark in the adventure touring class. The thoroughly modern powerplant utilizes a new ride-by-wire electronic throttle system, allowing for a number of high-tech rider aids for added rider safety and comfort.
