2010 Triumph Thunderbird ABS, This cruiser has ABS brakes and is bone stock accept for the accessories I added: windshield, rider floorboards, sissy bar w/ luggage rack & passenger pad. The windshield and sissy bar are very sturdy compared to other cruiser accessories I've owned, and are easily removable. I have clean title. The bike is like new, and has never been dropped. The performance of this cruiser is 2nd to none. It has 85HP & 108 ft lbs of torque. Compare that to the #1 selling cruiser. It is rated 56mpg on the hwy. I average @ 48mpg on Ca gas with combination city / hwy riding. The Showa forks and shocks provide better handling than comparable cruisers. It’s a shameful admission, I know, but I’m a firm believer in the policy of honesty being the best. Enjoying the luxury of working from home, I was only making myself a bacon sandwich with the TV on in the background when excited cries of ‘Freak, Freak!’ from Mrs MF drew my attention to this (see pic).
DiSalvo, Myers and Riedmann to Ride Triumph D675R for Daytona 200
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Latus Motors Racing announced it will compete in the 2013 Daytona 200 with Jason DiSalvo, Elena Myers and Kenny Riedmann on the Triumph Daytona 675R. DiSalvo should be considered one of the favorites for the Daytona 200. DiSalvo won the 2011 edition of the race on a Ducati 848 for Latus, and nearly did it again in 2012, finishing second on a Triumph Daytona 675R sporting a special livery in tribute to Gary Nixon.
Triumph’s 500,000th Production Motorcycle Headed to Auction on July 1st
Thu, 16 Jun 2011It was less than a month ago that Triumph’s 500,000th production motorcycle, a special Speed Triple with commemorative paint job, rolled off the line. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will put the special Trumpet on the auction block on July 1, 2011, during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Comedian Ross Noble has completed his Sit Down Tour of Great Britain with the milestone Triumph, and now the bike is ready to raise money for Riders for Health charity.
