Triumph Street Triple description

2012 TRIUMPH STREET TRIPLE, Updated for the 2012 model year, the Street Triple has a more contemporary look with bold new colors and graphics, stylish brushed metal finishes and aggressive new headlights shared with the bigger Speed Triple. At the heart of the Street Triple remains a character laden version of Triumphs unique 675 cc triple, delivering 108 PS and 69 Nm of torque. Its so good youll have trouble believing its only 675 cc. The torque and sound of the liquid-cooled 12-valve triple, combined with a close ratio 6-speed gearbox produce an exciting, exhilarating ride that has made the Street Triple our best selling model since its launch. The 2012 model will begin arriving in North American dealerships in October 2011.

Freedom Friday Photo Contest

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

Freedom Friday is a call-to-action on the AMA’s Facebook page each Friday to alert motorcyclists about issues posing threats to motorcycling freedoms. Riders can partake in a weekly contest related to these issues and win prizes. Each week’s Freedom Friday photo contest asks AMA members to send a photo of themselves, preferably with their bike, near a symbol of the current topic. The issue that kicks off today is access discrimination, which can be illustrated with a photo of a “No Motorcycles Allowed” sign, “Wilderness” sign or anything related to freedom to illustrate their concern as a motorcyclist.

Triumph Motorcycles Arriving in India in November

Thu, 01 Aug 2013

It’s a year behind schedule, but Triumph announced it will introduce its motorcycles to India by November. The British manufacturer had been gearing up for an Indian launch for over two years now, initially planning to enter the market in 2012. No reasons were given for the delay, and the sudden departure of Triumph Motorcycles India Managing Director Ashish Joshi didn’t help, but Triumph finally appears ready to start up operations in India.
