Triumph Street Triple description

Factory Warranty good until April 12th 2015

Updated for the 2012 model year, the Street Triple has a more contemporary look with bold new colors and graphics, stylish brushed metal finishes and aggressive new headlights shared with the bigger Speed Triple.

At the heart of the Street Triple remains a character laden version of Triumph’s unique 675 cc triple, delivering 108 PS and 69 Nm of torque. It’s so good you’ll have trouble believing its only 675 cc.

The torque and sound of the liquid-cooled 12-valve triple, combined with a close ratio 6-speed gearbox produce an exciting, exhilarating ride that has made the Street Triple our best selling model since its launch.

New Stuff: Bridgestone BT-016 Pro's

Thu, 24 Mar 2011

Well it was inevitable really, the gloriously sticky and not very durable Metzler Racetec K3's had seen their last mile on the Triumph. After being ripped through 2500 miles by the Speeds thumping 1050 Triple motor the rear had all but squared off. To replace them I’ve opted for Bridgestones new BT-16 Pro's because their previous incarnation had proved to offer supersport grip in the corners but also offer high mileage rates.

New Triumph Touring Cruisers Captured in Spy Photos

Wed, 10 Jul 2013

Britain’s MCN has published spy photos of two new Triumph touring motorcycles. Both models are prototypes still undergoing testing and one is even disguised to look like its eventual rival, the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. Both models are, in fact, slated to go up against Harley-Davidson models.

Craig Vetter Grand Marshall for 2012 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days

Tue, 22 May 2012

PICKERINGTON, Ohio — AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame member and noted designer Craig Vetter — whose contributions to motorcycling range from the iconic Windjammer fairings and the Triumph X-75 Hurricane to the Mystery Ship limited-production high-performance motorcycles and a number of high-profile motorcycle fuel-economy contests — will be honored as this year’s grand marshal at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days featuring Rockers and Mods, July 20-22, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. Vetter has been a member of the American Motorcyclist Association and a designer since 1965, and his varied background gives him a unique alliance to both the Rockers and Mods motorcycle subcultures. His design projects over the years have involved café racers — the motorcycles of choice for Rockers — and scooters, which are favored by Mods.
