Triumph Street Triple description

2008 Triumph Street Triple 675, Sweet Roulette Green 2008 Triumph Street Triple for sale. First model year for a bike that became an instant hit, winning awards & praise from the motorcycle community since its introduction. Chassis and engine derived from the Triumph Daytona 675, a bike that won Motorcycle magazine 2006 Bike of the Year. Although its sportbike roots are evident in its sharp handling, the standout is the punchy & charismatic 675cc triple engine, seamlessly delivering nice top-end power with useable low-end torque. With its compact size, low seat height, and unintimidating power delivery, this bike is friendly enough for novice riders, but offers enough performance potential to satisfy even the most experienced riders. Additionally, the bike has numerous upgrades, including: - Fully adjustable forks and rear shock swapped from a 2006 Triumph Daytona - Nissin brake calipers and master cylinder swapped from 2006 Triumph Daytona - Dynojet III power commander w/ tune - Leo Vince SBK slip-on exhaust - BMG high-performance air filter - LSL Fatbar handlebars w/ risers for greater leverage and quicker turn-in _ Sato GP rearsets - Carbon fiber radiator cowl, fender, and mudguard - Fender eliminator w/ integrated turn signals - CRG folding bar-end mirrors - GB Racing frame & fork sliders w/ clutch case covers That's a lot of add-on goodies included. I am very fond and a bit emotionally attached to the bike, but it I haven't ridden it much in the past two years and unfortunately it has to go. Has been garage-kept the whole time, with scheduled maintanence performed. Please shoot me a response if you would like to set up a time and place to take a look at it. $4,000.00

Classic Off-Road Bikes Featured in Braving Baja: 1,000 Miles to Glory Exhibition

Sat, 06 Apr 2013

Back in the 60s, American Honda tested the durability of its motorcycles by sending a CL72 Scrambler on a 950-mile trek through rocks, sand washes, dry lake beds, mountain passes and paved roads. Fifty years later, that legendary run is remembered for inspiring one of the most significant off-road races in the world—the Baja 1000. In celebration, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is hosting a tribute dinner, one-day off road show, and summer-long exhibition called Braving Baja, 1,000 Miles to Glory.

The company’s first model will be the Gladstone No.

Triumph to Sponsor Jason DiSalvo Speed Academy

Wed, 18 Apr 2012

Triumph Motorcycles has signed a sponsorship agreement with Jason DiSalvo‘s riding school. The 2011 Daytona 200 winner rides a Triumph Daytona 675R for the Latus Motors AMA Daytona Sportbike team so it’s no surprise the British manufacturer is sponsoring the Jason DiSalvo Speed Academy. DiSalvo also raced for Triumph-backed BE1 World Supersport team, and though he left the team on rather murky terms, DiSalvo and Triumph enjoy a strong working relationship.
