Beautiful yellow Triumph sports bike with only 7,000 mis. Bike was in storage for 5 yrs at my brother's residence in Philadelphia. I had it shipped to Chicago over the summer of 2013. I have had quite a bit of work done to it, including installing a new windshield and a new water pump. Bike is in fantastic condition. Bright yellow paint in pristine condition, no chips. Needs a tune-up and fuel injector check before you can ride it. The only reason we are selling the bike is because we are not available to ride it in the winter. Email to schedule a viewing. Craig Vetter To Headline AMA Hall Of Fame Breakfast At Daytona, March 14
Mon, 13 Jan 2014AMA Hall of Fame member Craig Vetter will be the featured guest at its annual AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona, on Friday, March 14, at 7:00 a.m., at the Daytona 500 Club on the infield at Daytona International Speedway. “Craig Vetter’s impact is far-reaching, starting with the design of the iconic Windjammer fairings of the 1970s, continuing with motorcycle designs like the Triumph X-75 Hurricane and the limited-edition ‘Mystery Ship,’ and enduring more recently with a resurrected series of motorcycle fuel economy runs that push the boundaries of everyday streamlining,” said Jeff Heininger, chairman of the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the Hall of Fame. “We’re proud to host motorcycling’s design professor emeritus for this year’s Breakfast at Daytona.” Taking place during 2014 Daytona Bike Week, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona fundraiser will feature a live interview with Vetter on stage, an audience Q&A period and an autograph session with Vetter and other Hall of Famers in attendance. Triumph is recalling motorcycles due to problems with electronics
Fri, 07 Nov 2014America, Bonneville, Bonneville T100, Rocket III Roadster, Rocket III Touring, Scrambler, Speedmaster, Thruxton, Thunderbird, Thunderbird Storm, Tiger 800 and Tiger 800XC will be recalled by the British company. According to the manufacturer, the engine control unit of some motorcycles may malfunction, due to which one of the fuel injectors will inject additional fuel into the engine cylinder. As a result, the engine will either not start or stall during operation due to excessive re-enrichment of the combustible mixture.
2012 Triumph Daytona 675, 675R Recalled in Canada for Missing Throttle Cable Guide
Tue, 21 May 2013Transport Canada announced a recall for the 2012 Triumph Daytona 675 and 675R because certain units may be missing a throttle cable guide. Without the guide, the throttle cable may get stuck in the steering stop, preventing the throttle from opening or closing properly. Such a situation could result in a loss of propulsion or, if the throttle is stuck open, could make it difficult to slow or stop the motorcycle.
