Triumph JUNIOR description
Very rare Triumph Junior bought from England with an honest 60 PSI compression . I installed a working Mag & new chain with new mag sprocket & bracket. I used a Villiers carb but not correct for the engine. Runs great, Bore is about 1 7/8" & 13/4" stroke. The output shaft is tapered & is about 5/8" with a number 41 sprocket ten tooth.6 1/2" Dia flywheel. ENGINE HIEGHT 13" H X W 5 " X L 11" & weight about 20lb. Great bottom end no play in bushings.No fins broken & comes with original flat tank decales enamel over brass. Working decompression. Needs lever & cable. 2012 Triumph Daytona 675, 675R Recalled in Canada for Missing Throttle Cable Guide
Tue, 21 May 2013Transport Canada announced a recall for the 2012 Triumph Daytona 675 and 675R because certain units may be missing a throttle cable guide. Without the guide, the throttle cable may get stuck in the steering stop, preventing the throttle from opening or closing properly. Such a situation could result in a loss of propulsion or, if the throttle is stuck open, could make it difficult to slow or stop the motorcycle.

Filmed by an MCN reader near Triumph’s Hinckley factory, the video quality isn’t very high, but we can see some details from the enhanced screenshot above (click to see a larger version). The most noticeable change is the placement of the exhaust.
