My loss your gain...I don't have a means to store my bike anymore so I must sell it. 2005 Triumph Daytona 955i...a little over 15,000mis. Rare, runs like a champ, no mechanical flaws. Has received new plugs, wires, tires, chain, sprockets, etc. within the last year. All fluids in check. Serious inquires can be sent via email; I check it religiously. The bike is currently being stored in Perry Hall but may be brought back to Owings Mills within the next few days. Roland Sands Designs is customizing a Triumph Scrambler and a Triumph Thruxton to raise money for the Tony Hawk Foundation. The custom Triumph Scrambler, pictured in the rendering above, and the Thruxton will be sold at the Tony Hawk Foundation’s “Stand Up for Skateparks” gala auction Oct. 2 in Beverly Hills, Calif.

We don’t get the manuals with our long term bikes and I didn’t want swallow my pride and ask triumph how to adjust the chain on the Speed Triple. For the life of me I couldn’t figure it out. The single side swing arm with centrally mounted disk is a work of art but how the hell you are supposed to adjust the thing?

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
