Triumph Bonneville description

Good day! I am selling my 2001 Bonneville as I do not ride it anymore. This was my first bike, bought in 2009 with about 8K miles on it. It now has around 22K. I still ride every so often to keep it moving. I recently bought my dream bike a little over a year ago (a '14 Street Triple R), and I kept the Bonnie around as a backup. My STR is my daily ride now, so the Bonneville needs a new home.

The paint is in good condition. The original color is red/silver, the black paint is rubberized and can be removed. I wanted a different look that wasn't permanent. It also protects the real paint underneath. If you don't like or get tired of it, it peels off in sheets. It is DuPont's answer to Plastidip.

I have done all the performance/work myself: Nissin Big Brake upgrade to the front (from a Euro spec'd honda CB1000R), SS brake lines, IKON progressive springs and 20wt in front/IKON thruxton shocks in back, modded airbox, twin K&N pod filters, 42/138 pilot/jets have more +/- sizes), slides drilled to 2mm/polished, new rubber fuel lines, new NGK leads and plugs, SS/fiberglass clutch cable, new speedo cable, new chain, new lighted rear sprocket, 42 and 43 front sprockets, Bridgestone BT45 tires, and TOR exhaust/cans, and some other odds and ends like tail tidy, lights, signals, et cetera.

It had the 12K maintenance done at a Triumph dealer,  Nowray in 2012.

I have several handle bars, rear fender, rear chrome grab rails, Dart flyscreen, touring screen, LSL rear sets, Triumph tank bag, and brown leather saddle bags that will go with it.

Let me know if you have any questions. I know this bike VERY well and can answer knowledgeably. Thanks for looking!

Would prefer local pickup. I can deliver within 100ish miles over a weekend. Buyer must arrange for pickup if shipping is desired.

2013 Triumph Special Edition Bonneville and Speed Triple Announced

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

Triumph has revealed Special Edition versions of the Bonneville and Speed Triple for 2013, proving once again that nothing delivers a bang for the buck like cosmetic enhancements to popular models. Most appealing to our eyes is the subtle but sexy Triumph Speed Triple SE (pictured above.) Its Matte Graphite color is beautifully set off by soft blue accents of the frame, swingarm, subframe and wheel pinstriping. Included on the SE are a color-matched fly screen, belly pan and seat cowl.

2013 Triumph Trophy Fuel Tank Recall Now Includes US

Fri, 07 Jun 2013

A recent recall announced for the 2013 Triumph Trophy and Trophy SE for a potential fuel leak has now expanded to the U.S. The recall, previously announced by Transport Canada, concerns a production error for the fuel tank of the affected units. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the two layers used in the construction of the fuel tank may not properly adhere to each other, resulting in a potential fuel leak.
