Up for auction is my vintage 1976 Triumph 750cc Bonneville motorcycle. This was a California bike of which the original owner passed away and this bike was unused and in storage for many years until a relative had it shipped to Minnesota. I have had it for 4 years and installed many new parts including a new $400 exhaust system that was manufactured in England. It has practically new Dunlop tires. Engine usually starts on first kick after tickeling the Amal carbs. Engine doesn't have any exhaust smoke. Transmission is tight and shifts properly. It has the stock points and condensers. Speedometer and speedometer also work. It has a clear Minnesota title with Classic license plates. I am selling it as I turned 75 years of age and gave up my motorcycle endorsement. Buyer to arrange for pickup at my residence and pay for shipping. |

May Day Run: Toy Story 3 Street Triple
Tue, 03 May 2011Every year on the first Bank holiday in May more than 25,000 bikers take to the A21 and ride to Hastings for what is Kent’s biggest bike meet. The official route starts at Locksbottom in London and follows the A21 all the way to the coastal town of Hastings. We picked up the 50 mile spectator-clad route about half way down and in our group of 5 took a casual poodle down.
Not a fake police biker
Fri, 03 Aug 2012So yesterday I was threading my way through London on Triumph's Tiger Explorer 1200 with panniers. Quite a wide load. Up ahead, I see a police biker and reckon on him being able to part the traffic enough for me to have an easier run down by the river.
