Suzuki SV description

This a great looking and running sv650s. I am the second owner and have owned it since 2012. It's been a fantastic and really fun bike to ride. All maintenance is up-to-date. Tires are in great shape. Michelin pilot 3 in the front and a pilot 2 on the rear. I've done a few tasteful upgrades to the bike. Dark smoke double bubble windscreen. Danmoto Jisu exhaust. Upgraded custom gel-pack and memory foam install to the factory seat (very comfortable). Upgraded comfort grips. Clear turn signal lenses. Frame sliders through motor block. Fender eliminator kit. Vizi-tek brake light modulator. LED pilot lights. Fell free to call or text with any questions. Thanks for looking. Mike. Canton GA 3183480680

MotoGP should return to Suzuka

Thu, 14 Jul 2011

Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.

Suzuki has released new images of its turbocharged Recursion concept. Revealed at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, the Recursion, along with Kawasaki’s supercharged inline-Four engine herald a return to forced induction motorcycles last commonly seen in the ’80s. According to Suzuki, the Recursion’s 588cc parallel-Twin engine with an intercooler turbo produces 99 hp at 8000 rpm while also claiming 74 ft-lb.
