This a great looking and running sv650s. I am the second owner and have owned it since 2012. It's been a fantastic and really fun bike to ride. All maintenance is up-to-date. Tires are in great shape. Michelin pilot 3 in the front and a pilot 2 on the rear. I've done a few tasteful upgrades to the bike. Dark smoke double bubble windscreen. Danmoto Jisu exhaust. Upgraded custom gel-pack and memory foam install to the factory seat (very comfortable). Upgraded comfort grips. Clear turn signal lenses. Frame sliders through motor block. Fender eliminator kit. Mon, 09 Jul 2012If you miss seeing factory two stroke racing machinery being ridden properly then you should consider a trip to the Spa classic event in 2013. I was the lucky recipient of an invitation to ride there last week and had a blast riding some tasty kit from the past. I went well at Spa in 250cc GPs but the circuit scared me on the 500s.
Hopkins Breaks Hand in Testing Crash – Yes, THAT Hand
Mon, 13 Feb 2012Crescent Fixi Suzuki racer John Hopkins has broken a bone in his right hand during the first day of testing at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. The injury was to the same hand Hopkins injured last season that eventually led to the amputation of the tip of his ring finger. Hopkins high-sided entering a corner riding a 2011-spec Suzuki GSX-R1000 (the 2012 superbike was not yet ready).
