This bike is in great shape, it was just inspected but will need tires before the next inspection. There are no defects that I know of. I have owned this bike for 4 years and have had no issues at all. This bike is mint. Unfortunately, I just have no time to ride it and its time for it to move on. It has 11,114 miles on it and it had just over 10,000 when I got it in '09. It runs great and has been sitting in a temp/humidity controlled environment on a battery tender at all times when not being ran. NADA average retail is $4,410. This one will go cheaper than that. Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 2 Results
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop led from start to finish to win the second Supersport TT race, giving him 10 TT victories in his career, tying him with the likes of Giacomo Agostini. Dunlop also joins sidecar racer Robert Fisher, Ian Lougher and Stanley Woods with 10 wins apiece, all tied for seventh overall on the all-time wins list. Riding his MD Racing Honda CBR600RR, Dunlop got off to a strong start, recording a time of 17:55.817 on the opening lap, giving him a 4.6-second advantage over fellow Honda rider Bruce Anstey.
Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season
Thu, 01 Sep 2011Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
