2012 Suzuki Motocross Lineup Revealed

Suzuki announced its 2012 motocross lineup consisting of the RM-Z450, RM-Z250, RM-85 and RM-85L. All four models return unchanged save for graphic updates. The 2012 Suzuki RM-Z450 and RM-Z250 (pictured above) are fuel injected and equipped with fully-adjustable Showa forks, twin-spar aluminum chassis and swingarm and five-speed transmissions.

2013 Long Beach International Motorcycle Show Report

Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show. After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season

MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.
