The 650 V-Strom has cult like status these days for its true adaptability to a variety of riding conditions: commuting, cruising, adventure touring and to a lesser degree off-road riding. The V-strom s upright riding posture is comfortable and offers its rider maximum control and situational awareness. Mechanically the V-Strom s tough 645cc fuel injected motor offers plenty of scoot and massive amounts of reliability. A stiff, twin-spar aluminum frame and swingarm accommodates a rear Showa mono-shock with hydraulic preload adjustment. Front Showa damper-rod forks are preload adjustable. The DL650 has a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. This bike includes the factory side bags and top case, crash guards, hyway pegs and radiator guard. Thank you for looking! Focused Events Rider Development Days at Silverstone offer a new, intense tuition-based experience on a selection of new Supersport machines, hosted by high-level instructors including Niall Mackenzie, Jamie Whitham and Steve Plater.The courses will be situated at Stowe circuit, Silverstone and will be aimed at Novice and Intermediate riders. Dates for the events have been confirmed as 14th May and 2nd September.Pupils will not only be taught by World class instructors, the machinery available for use will be high-end Supersport machines from Ducati, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. Total cost for the day is £339 including bike hire with a £50 premium for use of the exotic Ducati 848.Chief Instructor and Visordown Road Test Editor Niall Mackenzie explained, “A track day can be an intimidating place to learn circuit and road skills, especially for less experienced riders.

It was supposed to be a weekend of celebration. The World Superbike Championship was celebrating its 25th anniversary of racing at Italy’s Monza circuit. Promoters Infront Motorsports brought out 30 landmark Superbikes from the series’ history, while greats such as Fred Merkel, Doug Polen and Carl Fogarty were in attendance for what was supposed to be a weekend to remember.

Suzuki showrooms in China are about to look a lot different in a couple of days, with the usual small-displacement single-cylinder motorcycles making way for a couple of big behemoths. The Japanese manufacturer has joint ventures with four Chinese companies offering motorcycles and scooters, primarily small-displacement models. One of those joint ventures is Jinan Qingqi Suzuki Motorcycle Co., which offers models such as the GT125 standard or the QS150 cruiser.
