For sale: 97 Intruder almost like new, with only 6150 miles. Bike is in good to great shape. Runs, looks and sounds great. These are new: tinted windshield, FM stereo with SD/USB/MP3, Highway pegs, cruise control. The stereo is on but haven't had time to finish the wiring. Cruise control hasn't been installed yet. Highway pegs will need bushing on crash bar for better fit. I also will throw in original saddle bags. Would be nice cleaned up with leather conditioner. This is a nice bike to cruise around on. Great gas mileage with plenty of pep. I just don't have the time to ride it or finish installing the goodies. Too many other projects going on and with the weather so nice would rather see someone else enjoy it instead of it just sitting. TITLE IN HAND!! 2013 AMA Supercross Atlanta Race Report
Mon, 25 Feb 2013James Stewart captured his first AMA Supercross win in nearly a year, leading every lap in front of 68,987 fans at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta in his most consistent main event showing so far this season. The Yoshimura Suzuki racer was dominant in Atlanta, posting the fastest qualifying times and taking the holeshot to lead his eight-lap heat race before doing it again in the 20-lap main event. Stewart’s previous win was March 10, 2012, at Daytona International Speedway.
2014 AMA Supercross – Toronto Results
Mon, 24 Mar 2014James Stewart captured his series-leading fourth AMA Supercross 450 class win of the season, giving him sole possession of second place on the overall career wins list ahead of Ricky Carmichael and behind Jeremy McGrath. The win also helped Stewart gain some ground on points leader Ryan Villopoto who suffered from a bout of food poisoning. Villopoto was examined at a Toronto hospital and released in time for the opening ceremonies.
Suzuki Requests Invite to Official 2013 MotoGP Tests
Tue, 11 Dec 2012When Suzuki pulled out of MotoGP racing a year ago, the manufacturer said it hoped to return by the 2014 season. In the time since suspending its MotoGP program, Suzuki has been showing signs it is on track for a 2014 return. Work on Suzuki’s 1000cc MotoGP project is apparently proceeding as planned, with the manufacturer reportedly ready to join official testing during the upcoming season.
