The item for auction is an excellent condition, used 2010 Suzuki GSXR1300R Hayabusa. This bike is very clean, both cosmetically and mechanically, and is being sold by the second owner. It has been stored for the past year and has only 12003 kms on it. The bike is bone stock frame and motor-wise, the only upgrades that have been added are the Puig Dark Smoke Double Bubble windscreen, and the smoked taillight and turn signal lenses both front and rear. The bike comes with the OEM Suzuki Solo Seat Cover, and the Pirelli Diablo Corsa III tires mounted have about 2000 kms on them. The bike has a clean Ontario ownership and needs nothing to certify. There is not a cleaner example of a 2010 Gen 2 out there. PayPal, bank transfer, or certified check are the accepted methods of payment. If this sale is completed using PayPal, 3% will be added to the total to cover PayPal fees. Shipping of the motorcycle is available, and is the responsibility of the buyer to arrange. Powered by a 248cc liquid cooled in-line twin-cylinder engine, the GW250 would seem an ideal choice for newcomers not interested in sportbikes like the Honda CBR250R and Kawasaki Ninja 300. Piaggio, Suzuki Hit with Fines by CARB
Mon, 01 Apr 2013The California Air Resources Board has agreed to settlements with Suzuki and Piaggio for selling motorcycles that the companies did not disclose could be modified to exceed the state’s strict emission standards. Suzuki was hit with the larger of the two penalties, agreeing to a fine of $3,020,000, though the amount could be reduced by $1,812,000 if Suzuki follows certain provisions. The penalty is in addition to the previous fine of $885,000 levied by the Environmental Protection Agency for selling 25,396 LT-R450 ATVs and 62 RMX450Z dirtbikes with a racing map programmed into their ECUs that was not certified or tested. This racing map is not initially accessible to customers, unless they buy aftermarket devices to unlock the higher-performance engine mapping.
2015 Suzuki RM-Z450 Launches with Holeshot Assist
Fri, 16 May 2014Suzuki revealed the 2015 edition of its RM-Z450 motocrosser with a holeshot assist control and Showa’s pneumatic Separate Function Fork. The Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control (S-HAC) offers two different launch modes programmed to improve acceleration. The two modes adjust ignition timing to suit different starting conditions.
