Suzuki GSX-R description

This is a very nice bike. I have owned it for the last 5 years with no complications, no accidents and no falls. It has received oil changes twice a year and maintenance. I keep it very clean, as you can see in the pictures. It has always been garage kept. I am upgrading to a newer bike and have to let this one go.

Features:
- HotBodies Under Tail Exhaust
- GPR Stabilizer/Steering Damper
- Sliders
- Sexy Tank Pad
- Extra set of tires (They only have 50 miles of use)
- GSXR Engine Cover
- Minor parts (ex. Bar Ends)

The only defect is in the front fairings below the right mirror attachment. The bike has had this since I purchased it and I never got it fixed because it's not very obvious. Please see pictures. I was planning on installing the extra tires once I wore down the ones on the bike, but they are still in decent riding condition. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as it is also for sale locally.

Feel free to contact me with questions or if you would like to stop by and see for yourself.

Bike is local pick up only.

Cash only.

NO RESERVE!!!

Let me know if you would like to see any additional pictures.

Happy Bidding!

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.

Behind the scenes in Qatar

Sat, 19 Mar 2011

Just because you have the name Jorge Lorenzo on your screen and you've won a world championship doesn't mean you'll get an easy time at scrutineering. In Qatar the technical inspection staff made the factory Yamaha mechanics remove bodywork and unbolt some electrical components in order to get a better look at the guts of the 2011 M1. Everything was in order of course but what a great opportunity for the scrutineers to exercise their power and have a poke around the most high tech Yamaha on the planet.

2014 AMA Supercross – Indianapolis Results

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season in a wild main event that saw two of the top title contenders crashing on the starting straight at Indianapolis‘ Lucas Oil Stadium. Smartop MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi took the holeshot for the second race in a row, but the big news was incoming points leader Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen going down before the first turn. Roczen trailed Villopoto by nine points going into the Indianapolis round, but the KTM rookie’s hopes of overtaking the reigning champion took a blow when he went down on the straight, knocking Villopoto off in the process.
