THIS IS THE HOTTEST BIKE ON THE MARKET, most sought after! 750cc engine has the power feel of a 1000cc but the weight of a 600cc. A true beast!

Details of Motorcycle:

  • 2012 GSX-R 750 Blue/White body with black wheels – 3K miles
  • Like new tires with over 85% tire tread
  • MINT condition; not a scratch or blemish of any kind on body, instrument panel or wheels; bike was never in an accident, laid down, raced or dropped. I am a casual rider and did NOT EVER perform wheelies or stunts.
  • All manufacture scheduled maintenance performed (oil change after first couple hundred miles, and second oil change @ 2,000 miles) at originating dealership.
  • Garage kept, always covered and kept clean. Original two keys (the second key still has original dealer plastic wrap and tag)
  • Has a lifetime subscription of LOJACK purchased for $1,278.00; they installed a mercury device on the bike that tracks any movement. The system includes a FOB which is on the main key, if the bike is moved more than five feet without the FOB in close proximity, LOJACK will be alerted and EMAILS/TEXT to cell phone will be immediately sent to registered owner. Should the bike be stolen, LOJACK will also immediately contact the local police department and search/retrieval process will begin. They facilitate everything for you, and are able to view its location real-time, giving the authorities an edge on finding it fast, usually within the first day. This system also provides a nice discount on insurance costs. I will provide you all the original documentation and transfer the online account to your name upon purchase. You will be able to log into the LOJACK’s website to replace account contact information with yours.

Another Cruiser?

Sun, 09 Nov 2008

In a county gone mad with cruisers, from outrageous T.V. customs to 250cc Honda Rebels, the cruiser is the largest segment of the American motorcycle market. Interesting then, that despite a seeming glut in the cruiser supply, and receding sales figures from major OEMs in the past year, that new cruiser models keep coming.

It was good to catch up with my old mate Daryl Beattie last weekend in Misano. Daryl was pushing Mick Doohan hard for the 500cc World Championship in 1995 until he high sided and broke his collar bone in Assen mid way through the year. He eventually finished runner up in the series but then some fairly big tumbles from his Lucky Strike Suzuki in 1996 brought his career to a premature end.

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.
