Listing for a 08 GSXR 750 in black and orange. Bike has akrapovic pipe, anodized black adjustable levers, dark windscreen, frame sliders, swingarm spools, frame plugs, vortex gas cap, black wheels, rear seat cowl, gsxr bar ends, tank protector, and competition werks plate re-locator. These come stock with a 3 mode power setting to let you change the power output. Battery is one year old. The engine and trans work perfectly, and all six gears pull HARD.I am the second owner and purchased it with 4200 miles. Oil changed regularly with 10w-40 Mobil 1. The three-day event attracted upwards of 150,000 spectators this year.
46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012
Mon, 25 Nov 2013An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.
GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full
Wed, 13 Oct 2010Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong. As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.
