I'm selling my 2007 GSXR 1000. I bought the bike in September, 2015. It had 5,171 miles on it. When I bought the bike I put in a new battery and I installed a new windscreen, grips, bar ends, frame sliders, swingarm spools, reservoir caps, new front and rear tires (Michelins). I also had the fork seals replaced. Since then, I haven't had any trouble with the bike at all. The only reason I'm selling the bike is I'm retiring from riding. At least for the foreseeable future anyway. I've owned just about every kind of sport bike and this is the sweetest bike I've ever ridden. It has done about 100 laps at JenningsGP but I'm not a fast rider and I didn't abuse the bike. There are no defects on the bodywork that I can find but there is a star about the size of a BB on the headlight. I tried to take a picture but you can't see it. The prior owner left a small spot on the headlight where he tried to get some bug stuff off with a hairdryer but that won't show up in a picture either. The M4 exhaust on this bike sounds great. I just had the oil changed and the bike is ready to ride. Two keys, no owners manual. I think the bike has always been kept inside. I kept it in a storage unit. You can tell from the pictures that the bike is in great condition. If you have any questions, please call (don't text) me at 850-212-8864 and I'll be happy to try to answer them. 2014 AMA Supercross – Detroit Results
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart captured his third win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season and 48th 450 class victory of his career, tying him with Ricky Carmichael for second on the all-time win list behind Jeremy McGrath‘s 72. Racing before a crowd of 50,856 fans at Ford Field in Detroit, Stewart took the lead from holeshot-taker Cole Seely shortly before the end of the second lap and led the rest of the 20-lap race for the win. Stewart led by as much as 7.1 second but eased off at the end, crossing the finish less than two seconds ahead of Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto.
Dropped Suzuki Dealerships Represented Only 2.5% of Retail Sales
Fri, 22 Mar 2013American Suzuki raised some eyebrows after news broke yesterday the company was cancelling franchise agreements with numerous dealerships in the U.S. The company was already under close scrutiny after making the bold decision to quit selling cars to focus on powersports when it filed for Chapter 11 in November. Reducing its dealer network appears to go against that idea, at least on the surface.

However, two unfortunate and costly blows hit the paddock; the banning of tobacco advertising in 2005 followed by the global economic crisis. The off-shoot saw grid numbers drastically dwindle with staple teams, like Kenny Roberts' outfit, and manufacturers, Kawasaki and Suzuki, succumbing to the events and disappearing.
