Suzuki GSX-R description

2002 Suzuki Gsx-R 1000, Absolutely sound, solid, dependable bike. Ferocious power through every gear. Smooth shifting. No issues. Clutch replaced less than 6k miles ago. Battery replaced 6 months ago. Chain and sprocket kit, plugs, K&N, and brake pads front and back all freshly installed. i have only used 100% synthetic oil. Bike has less than 1,000 miles since last oil change. Extras include: custom led light kit, yosh pipe, and black powdercoated wheels. This bike has all original fairings in the most sought after color scheme. Blue book is $4,500. i have priced this bike at $3,800 for the following reasons: Upper cowl fairing has some cracks ad scuffs, tail fairing has a couple cracks, and left side of tank has a small dent. Side fairings are in good shape with just some minor scratches. The bike has been this same way since i purchased it 2 years ago. The rear tires will need to be replaced soon as well but there is still some life in it. This is my 3rd and favorite gixxer as i am a fan for life. i am 48 years old, so this bike is adult owned and has always been garaged. The bike has only been in southern california as told by the dealer i purchased from in north hollywood. i do not want to sell this bike but my 91 camaro needs a new motor so i have no choice. i will deal with cash offers only!......PERIOD! SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! CALL OR TEXT TOM AT 323-334-5941 $3,800.00 3233345941

Japan Needs Your Help

Thu, 17 Mar 2011

By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees  and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.

WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
