NO TITLE. 1987 Suzuki GSXR 1100. Bike was dropped off at my shop couple years ago to put on new sprockets and chain and rebuild clutch master cylinder. After work completed, several attempts to contact customer no reply. No reply at last known address. I had a local police officer run the VIN and came back clear but the owner was deceased. Tried to contact family, no luck. Bike has been stored inside heated. At this point the inside storage outwheighs the value of the bike.I don't want the hassle of going through garage lien. So it is priced accordingly NO TITLE. Motor starts runs strong.Idles smooth.. NO smoke, NO engine noise. Just cleaned and synched carbs.. Yoshimura pipe- K & N filters sound excellent. Wheels and forks straight. Clutch and shifting fine. Goes into neutral easy. Gauges good, tank good.Upper cowl good. Cowling left side rough no good, but right side cowl good. Thu, 14 Jul 2011Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.

EICMA 2008: First Impressions

I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.
