Suzuki GS description

This is a 1980 Suzuki GS450ET. This is suzuki's version of a Factory Cafe Racer. This is suzuki's version of the Super sport that honda put out for years. It has the cafe tank with knee slots and a rear cawl. Almost every part on this bike has been bead blasted and/or painted. Brand new tires have about 100 miles on them, new grips and bar ends, mirrors, new billet aluminum blinkers, new LED tail light, new custom exhaust from custom exhaust specialists! Jetted, pod filters, new stainless steel allen bolts on both side covers, new side cover gaskets, new chain and sprockets! Original seat no tears, original paint with no major dings or dents!! Shortened front fender, shortened rear fender, lowered gauge cluster. Valve adjustment and overhaul, Fresh oil and filter, always garaged, New Tags! This is a Turn Key bike!! Suzuki Reports Q1 2013-2014 Results

Suzuki reported an 18.5% increase in net sales from its motorcycle business in its first quarter ended June 30, 2013. Suzuki reports sales of 70.5 billion yen (US$710.1 million) from its motorcycle business, an increase from 59.5 billion yen reported in the same quarter last year. Unfortunately, despite increasing revenue, Suzuki’s motorcycle operations still remains in the red, operating at a loss of 2.7 billion yen (US$27.2 million) compared to a loss of 3.5 billion yen in the first quarter last year.

2009-2011 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Recalled for Side Stand Interlock Switch

Suzuki is issuing a recall for 2009-2011 GSX-R1000 because of a potential failure of the side stand interlock switch. The interlock switch is what cuts off the ignition circuit on a motorcycle when the side stand is down and the transmission is in any gear except neutral. Its purpose is to prevent a motorcycle from moving with the stand deployed.
