eau gallie at A1A Rare 83 suzuki gs750E with 24,000 mis. It has been modified from the original to have more of a cafe/ streetfighter look. The good: Custom made handlebars and seat. Full after market Kerker four into 1 header and custom high mount muffler. Tires , brake pads , chain and battery are almost new.swapped out front forks spring for progressive suspension springs. pulled out factory airbox and added aftr market pod air filters and had the carbs adjusted. Bar end mirrors and after market mini turn signals finish off the look. Bike runs well! The bad: leaks some oil and it always has. I add a 1/3 of a quart a month. The ECCs are designed to protect the engine cases and the inner workings of the motor in the event of a drop by acting as a sturdy ‘second skin’.By simply bolting over the original items, fitting the durable Engine Case Covers doesn’t require draining any engine fluids or replacing gaskets. Extensively developed in the ACU R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R600 Trophy, as well as being tested and approved by the California Superbike School in the UK and USA, the covers can allow a bike to be ridden after a crash or prevent terminal engine damage from oil leaks or casing punctures.Protection benefits aside, financial savings for riders are evident by looking at official parts prices; to replace only the clutch cover on a Suzuki GSX-R1000K7 would cost £206 including a new gasket, but all three R&G Engine Case Covers for this bike cost only £143.

Suzuki to Relocate R&D Facility to Lower Tsunami Risk Area
Thu, 07 Jul 2011Suzuki is considering moving its motorcycle research facility from its current coastal location to its main factory in Hamamatsu, Japan, to decrease the risk of damage from future tsunamis. According to a report in the Nikkei business daily, Suzuki is acquiring more land in Hamamatsu to house the research center and other facilities. Suzuki CEO Osamu Suzuki first brought up the idea to relocate some of its higher risk coastal properties during its 2011-2012 fiscal year forecast report.
