2013 AIMExpo: Suzuki Unveils GW250
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Suzuki unveiled a new lightweight naked standard motorcycle at the 2013 American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) – the GW250. Powered by a 248cc liquid cooled in-line twin-cylinder engine, the GW250 would seem an ideal choice for newcomers not interested in sportbikes like the Honda CBR250R and Kawasaki Ninja 300. Suzuki Announces $4.2 Million Contingency for 2012
Thu, 08 Dec 2011American Suzuki is posting $4.2 million in race contingency for the 2012 U.S. road racing and motocross season. The contingency program is open to amateur and professional racers riding 2011 or 2012 Suzuki GSX-R600, GSX-R750 or GSX-R1000 sportbikes and RM85/85L, RM-Z250 or RM-Z450 motocross racers.
Hopkins to Sit Out 2013 Racing Season to Recover from Injuries
Tue, 09 Oct 2012American John Hopkins announced he is taking a sabbatical from racing for 2013 to recover from a number of significant injuries. Hopkins’ once very promising racing career has been hampered by both a series of bad luck and injury. It seems so long ago that Hopkins finished fourth overall in the 2007 MotoGP Championship with Suzuki.
