Yoshimura GSX1250FA EEC Approved Slip-On End-Can

JAPANESE TUNING house Yoshimura has released a series of EEC-approved Slip-On exhausts suitable for the Suzuki Bandit GSF1250SA and the new fully-faired Suzuki GSX1250FA.At over 3kgs lighter than the OE Suzuki item, each Yoshimura Slip-On comes with the pipe work to mount to the standard front section plus all parts (including muffler clamp) required for installation. The EEC-approved silencer features two dB-killer baffles, one in the link pipe, one in the can and when both are removed power and torque are increased over stock, claim Yoshimura. A Different Bike Magazine

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.

Is This the New Suzuki V-Strom 650?

Suzuki has released a teaser for a new mid-sized adventure bike, likely an updated V-Strom. The teaser campaign, which can be seen at Suzuki’s official website, shows the image above, along with the words: “Time For Real Adventures” and “Middle-Class New Motorcycle”. These hints suggest the new model will be an updated V-Strom 650, likely using an engine similar to the one powering the Suzuki Gladius SFV650.
