Suzuki Boulevard description

2011 Suzuki Boulevard S40, This Professionally built, custom Cafe Racer is a 2011 Suzuki S40 with only 290 miles! It has an air-cooled, single cylinder 650cc 4-stroke OHC motor. It is belt driven with a 5 speed transmission. The venerable Suzuki S40 (or Savage, as its been known for the past 20 years) is one of the unsung heroes of the thumper world. It was designed to be lightweight, reliable, and fuel efficient. It is a perfect donor bike for a Cafe Racer custom motorcycle! This bike truly is the best of both worlds. It has the classic styling and appeal of a vintage cafe racer, PLUS the reliability, handling and benefits of a modern bike. Bike starts and runs perfectly and the condition is flawless. It seems I cant go on a ride without a friendly new englander stopping me to comment on the bike, especially on the paint scheme. The color is VooDoo Blue, which is matched to the Toyota FJ Cruiser. The black shocks as well as the black front fender blend in with the rest of the black, while the bright blue pops, bolstering that classic cafe racer look. Some pics show the bike without the side panels. They are currently removed to get more of the open frame look. But they can easily be put back on. Every aspect of this custom conversion was done PROFESSIONALLY at Ryca Motors which you can read about on their website, as well as see more pics of the bike. Its currently registered and I have title in hand. I am willing to cooperate with shipping if you make the arrangements. I am also willing to deliver within reason within the New England area. Hopkins Breaks Hand in Testing Crash – Yes, THAT Hand

Mon, 13 Feb 2012

Crescent Fixi Suzuki racer John Hopkins has broken a bone in his right hand during the first day of testing at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. The injury was to the same hand Hopkins injured last season that eventually led to the amputation of the tip of his ring finger. Hopkins high-sided entering a corner riding a 2011-spec Suzuki GSX-R1000 (the 2012 superbike was not yet ready).

Ducati vs. Honda vs. Suzuki: MotoGP porn

Tue, 08 Feb 2011

For all you lovers of perfectly welded titanium, amazingly machined aluminium and lovingly crafted fasteners; this blog's for you. These pics were shot at the Sepang MotoGP tests where the bikes were presumably being warmed up, ready for action. Take a look at that Suzuki, it's a work of art.

In loving memory of the Suzuki Katana

Wed, 23 Mar 2016

The Japanese are celebrating the 35th anniversary of the legendary Suzuki Katana motorcycle, whose appearance on the road still stuns the layman. Back in the day, the Japanese manufacturer relied on the European design studio Target Design to get an innovative motorcycle. Hans Muth, the ex-BMW designer at the time, presented two concepts: a 650cc prototype and a 1100cc version that ended up on the assembly line.
