WATCH WALK AROUND VIDEO AND HEAR BIKE HERE >> https://player.vimeo.com/video/163556586

This is a 2006 Suzuki Boulevard C50, 805cc - A fuel injected power house of a cruising motorcycle. This bike has a fuel-injected 45-degree V-twin engine that cranks out a load of torque in low gears and has great top-end performance as well. It also has a spacious riding position and smooth suspension for comfortable cruising. Purchased in California and ridden daily, then moved to Tennessee and have not ridden in much since we had kids. Has 12,200 miles on it. Always garaged or covered. Always maintained. Always loved. Never dropped. When not used regularly, it was always on a trickle charger and covered in a garage. New battery, new tires and recent service.

Upgrades
As for upgrades, there are a good number of them. This is what makes the bike so nice compared to a stock C50. Upgrades and other included accessories total over an additional $2,000.
  • custom 2" lowering kit - for a more aggressive stance
  • upgraded exhaust system/pipes
  • a tuner/fuel processor
  • lowered saddle bags
  • awesome lowered solo seat
  • lower air deflectors
  • upgraded hand grips
  • engine/crash guards

Also Included
When we lived in California, we had this bike setup as a 2 person touring motorcycle. Now that we are in the city, it is more of a lowered solo bagger. Below are some of the include accessories you can bolt back on.
  • 2 helmet trunk
  • full size windshield
  • passenger seat
  • passenger foot rests
  • passenger back rest
  • luggage rack
  • jacket/helmet lockdown cable system
  • battery tender trickle charger to keep you charged in the off season
  • motorcycle cover
This is a beautiful bike that has been an honor to ride. I have ridden it many times up and down Highway 1 and the beautiful views there as well as honoring our soldiers as a member of the Patriot Guard Riders. I will be sad to see her go, but with 2 kids under 3 years old, I just don't find the time to ride it. I hope she finds a great home.

Technical Features (from the manufacturer)
  • Narrow 805cc, fuel injected, liquid-cooled, SOHC, four-valve-per-cylinder, 45-degree V-twin engine is tuned for exceptional low RPM torque.
  • Digitally tuned with throttle-position sensors to provide even more low-end torque from the big V-Twin engine.
  • Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) electronic fuel-injection system maintains optimum air velocity in the intake tract for smooth low-to mid-RPM throttle response.
  • Suzuki Pulsed-secondary Air-Injection system (PAIR) introduces air into the exhaust ports to ignite unburned hydrocarbons and reduce emissions.
  • Auto Fast Idle System (AFIS) automatically sets the throttle valve opening during cold engine starts by monitoring coolant temperature.
  • A wide-ratio five-speed transmission features a high fifth gear ratio for relaxed highway cruising.
  • Low-maintenance shaft drive is clean-running and offers low torque reaction.
  • A kicked-out, 33-degree rake and long 65.2-inch wheelbase provides a smooth, comfortable ride.
  • Telescopic forks provide 5.5 inches of smooth suspension travel.
  • Link-type rear suspension is shaped to mimic the hard-tail lines of a traditional cruiser, connecting a truss-style swing arm and a single shock absorber with 7-way spring preload adjustability providing 4.1 inches of smooth and response suspension travel.
  • Wide handlebars, forward-mounted floorboards, and leather-textured seat provide a comfortable ride around town and on the highway.
  • Styling incorporating timeless laid-back style in the cruiser heritage: rich paintwork, glittering chrome and deep front and rear fenders with rounded ends.
  • Low 27.6-inch seat height.

From a Suzuki press release: The 2015 Suzuki MotoGP GSX-RR was unveiled at today’s Motegi MotoGP race in Japan as 1993 World 500cc GP Champion Kevin Schwantz was joined by 1982 World Champion Franco Uncini for demonstration laps at the Twin Ring circuit. Kevin Schwantz: “I started very carefully as we didn’t start from pit-lane and without tyre warmers, but I soon felt the machine was being very stable and I was able to speed-up.

The Making of the Rizla Suzuki Misano Micron Livery [Video]

Fri, 23 Sep 2011

Suzuki is a bit of an underdog in the MotoGP World Championship – at least, as much of an underdog as a full factory outfit can be. With just one Suzuki on the grid, expectations are low for the Japanese manufacturer. But one thing Suzuki does do well is put out an attractive looking racebike with the GSV-R dressed in Rizla Suzuki blue with livery by Troy Lee Designs.
