Suzuki Bandit tech info
Suzuki Bandit description
2007 Bandit 1250S, just under 5000miles, looks like the day it rolled
off the show room floor, aftermarket seat and exhaust (factory will be
included if buyer wants). Never dropped or laid down. I bought the bike around a year ago from a person who lost interest in riding. He bought the bike off the show room floor in 07 put 500 miles on it and let it sit until I bought it. I have put a little over 4000 miles on it. The bike has Michelin tires that are like new. I have added a Sargent seat, factory seat will go with the bike. Also has a screaming demon exhaust, factory exhaust will be included. It also has a center stand. Other than that the bike is stock. It will be sold AS-IS, NO WARRANTY. So go ahead an offer me something, you never know i might just take it, and remember its no reserve auction so the hiest bid wins it. Cameron (334)-750-9829

New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips
Fri, 01 Mar 2013CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips. Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment. Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions. Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?
Thu, 02 Jun 2011The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship. He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.
EICMA 2008: First Impressions
Mon, 03 Nov 2008I have had a little walk around checking out the preparations for the show. I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.
