For your consideration, RARE one of 55 Harley Davidson Dealer Award FXSB Shovelhead (1340cc) motorcycle . This motorcycle does not and will not come around for sale very often, here is your chance to purchase a diamond for your Harley collection. The bike is in a condition for restoration and should be left to a professional restorer or it can be left in the condition that it is, the value will only go up on this bike. The bike has a copy of a letter from Harley through the original owner from 1984 stating that it is one of only 55. It has been in my family for the past roughly 30yrs. The bike was purchased from Steele's Harley Davidson of Bloomfield, NJ (one of 2 that they received). I personally know all the owners which 2 of the 4 were family. The bike is not perfect (the value would be around $45,000 for it if it was, please view hdmotorcyclesforsale.com/singlead.aspx?id=3599) but it still has value. The tires on the bike are flat but the winner will receive brand new Dunlop tires for it. You will receive 3 manuals for the bike, an original Dealers copy of Harley Davidson's "Dealer News" from 1983 (which states that 1982 awards were the 1983 FXSB bikes), and an assortment of Genuine Harley parts which I have collected for it. The gas tank has a ding in the left side, the right mirror is missing, there are scratches and dings on various parts throughout, there is surface rust on the frame. The battery cover was stolen when it was in storage. The original pipes were replaced in late-80's with straight pipes and the original "ham can" air cover is missing. The 1 side is missing pegs and the rubber boot over kick-starter. The key for starter needs to stay in ignition because it is cracked. The seat has cracking and wear. The rear fender was replaced in the mid-80's do to damage. There is 1 accident to the front forks in the early 90's (slow moving accident), forks and fender were replaced along with other parts at a Harley Dealership. The motor will need all fluid replaced, there is an oil leak. Overall the bike is an awesome bike that should be restored by a professional (and the value will continue to go up on this very rare Harley Dealer Award). Please look at images, if you have any questions please feel free to ask. I will only except a cashier check for the motorcycle within 7 days of the end of auction. Highest bidder will be responsible for shipping. Thanks for looking! No International Buyers.
