PLEASE NOTE; There are but a handful of ORIGINAL Excelsior board track racer's known to exist.
 Many well known Excelsior racers have reconstructed frames,  section frames & this machine falls into this category & the price realistically reflect this..
WE HAVE ORIGINAL REAR HUB & SPROCKET & ALSO AN ORIGINAL STANDARD ROAD FRAME INCLUDED WITH THIS BIKE.

A fabulous looking machine & one of the rarest & desirable board track marques.. This excelsior was purchased by me a few years ago in Europe from a well known dealer of veteran vintage motorcycles. The description stated that it was found in southern USA along with an Indian power plus racer & exported some time ago. That is all of the history that is known to me, I had been after an Excelsior racer for many years & this is the only one i was able to find...
The bike.. 
 The engine appears to be 15/16 turns, has great compression.. Was fitted with a modern carby & I presume it had been running, but I havent run it. I aquired a Schebler carburetor for it & this requires correct fitting.
 
The frame.. c1918, with under tank bar removal.
 another road frame, a genuine unrestored 1918. ALSO PICTURED.
 The frame on the bike may be reconstructed or an unmachined original. The steering races  require machining & the linkage holes  require drilling..
 Being sold with the bike is a second ORIGINAL unrestored frame, allowing an authentic recreation if required.
 
 Hubs fitted are unknown, Sprockets unknown ...WITH THIS BIKE COMES AN ORIGINAL REAR HUB & SPROCKET IDEAL TO USE..SEE PICS!
 PAINT WORK HAS SCRATCHES, MARKS, OLD PATINA DESIGNED TO LOOK VERY OLD & WELL USED, ETC. 
NON ORIGINAL PAINT.
An outstanding opportunity in acquiring a period Excelsior in racing guise, short coupled frame etc. It is not being sold as an original board track machine Although the engine may have been & no doubt this machine could be left as is or refurbished or restored to your standard.
