Moto Guzzi V7 Special description

2013 Moto Guzzi V7 Special, CONTACT KYLE FOR DETAILS(480) 2013 Moto Guzzi V7 SpecialTouring bikes don t have to be as big as bulldozers. The V7 Special is the closest of the V7 range to the original V7 concept of the 1970s, not only due to its shared name with the first V7 designed by Lino Tonti, but because it faithfully invokes the same riding philosophy. It is a touring bike with sophisticated finishings and exclusive technical solutions. Just like its ancestor, it is wrapped in a two-tone color concept and equipped with spoked wheels with aluminium rims.Featuring a newly engineered and more powerful, 750cc, 90-degree V-Twin motor, the V7 Special is perfectly suited for medium range touring. While maintaining the classic 90 V configuration, the new engine is now comprised of more than 70% new components. Cutting-edge technological parts have been included to improve functionality, provide greater torque and power even at low rpms, and be more efficient, with higher fuel economy and reduced emissions. The new tank brings with it a superior metal construction that allows for a lighter tank along with a greater fuel capacity the V7 Special can hold a record 5.8 gallons which, together with reduced consumption, ensures a range of up to 310 miles. This is further proof of the design philosophy that has guided the entire V7 family: engineering innovation is always intended to restore pleasure to the rider of gripping a real, resounding metal tank in true Moto Guzzi tradition. The V7 Special provides a flagship riding range, a role which it can take on further when equipped with bags and windshield accessories that complement the overall design of the V7 Special. The rest of the V7 Special design confirms the alchemy of tradition and modernism that was introduced in 2008 with the first V7 Classic. New lightweight, aluminum wheels allow for a reduction in weight at the front and rear, translating to greater agility on the road and cruising through turns. With the graphic design, particular attention has been paid to the detail across the motorcycle, including the two-tone paintwork which harkens back to the V7 model that inspired it all.As with all of Moto Guzzi s on-road motorcycles, the V7 Special comes with a two-year manufacturer s warranty and roadside assistance for one year.

Fri, 28 Sep 2012

Back in March, Piaggio Vice President of design Miguel Galluzzi revealed the Italian firm would release several versions of the new Moto Guzzi California 1400 including a full touring version. We’ve seen photographs of the new California in prototype form from Piaggio‘s North American dealer meeting, but we’ve now come across a picture of what looks like the final production version in full touring trim. The picture,  appears to have been leaked from an official catalog photoshoot, shows the new Moto Guzzi California 1400 with hard bags, engine bars, extra lighting and windscreen.
