Moto Guzzi California description

2013 MOTO GUZZI California 1400 CUSTOM *IN STOCK NOW*, The Bike On a California 1400 Custom one becomes a traveler even for small trips. A vocation which provides every driving moment with overwhelming intensity: the combination of power and pleasure. The custom soul comes out in the ride by wire technology and cruise control system for selecting engine power curves and character. Nothing is left to chance. The Moto Guzzi California 1400 Custom is the bad sibling of the California family, in total contrast in terms of temperament and style. It conquers the rider with the strength expressed by its unique cruiser design: two wheels, an engine, saddle and handlebars. All made with the rigor of form and function, combined with a typically Italian aesthetic sense, expression of attention to detail and execution ability worthy of the best interpretations Made?in Italy has ever produced in the automotive field. This can be seen in the details, such as the two-seater saddle boasting the hot-pressed Eagle logo, the drag bar handlebars with light-weight supports and the original rear shock absorbers with external tank. To increase the expressive power of the design is the minimal graphics based on textured colors such as mercury grey and basalt black and certain skillful touches of style, such as the black lacquered wheels with red Moto Guzzi logo and black wing mirrors. Once in the saddle, the differences compared to the Touring forcefully emerge: the new sport saddle and drag bar handlebars provide a low slung and backward sitting position over the rear wheel for perfect metropolitan showing off. One travels enveloped in the sound of the 1380 cc big bore, ready to unleash 120 Nm at 2750 rpm or cruise in overdrive, at little more than idling, trying to listen to the beats of the 104 mm pistons of the mighty 90 V-Twin made? in Mandello del Lario, filtered by the innovative elastic-kinematic fixing to the tubular frame. The deliberately minimalist appearance of the design further enhances the presence of technological features not found in any other motorcycle manufactured by competitors. The California 1400 Custom, like the Touring version, has cruise control as standard, with MGCT traction control which can be set at three levels of intervention and, thanks to Ride-by-Wire; it is also possible to adjust the engine response according to three modes, Touring, Sport and Rain. And if the rider of the California Custom can choose the character of their motorcycle according to the type of route and use, they can also adapt it to their personality, drawing on the most extensive accessories catalogue ever produced by Moto Guzzi.

New Moto Guzzi Microwebsite a One-stop Portal for Guzzi Fans Old and New

Thu, 17 May 2012

Guzzis aren’t for everyone, and Guzzisti are quite okay with that fact. While Moto Guzzi recognizes the dedication of Guzzi devotees, it also recognizes that it needs to grow the brand. Moto Guzzi USA, the North American importer of the Moto Guzzi brand, has announced a new “micro” site for Guzzis. The site, www.motoguzzioriginals.com, is part eye candy (actually, it’s very eye candy), part history, part marketing tool.

Moto Guzzi Taking the Motorcycle Show Experience to Airports to Promote the California 1400

Wed, 20 Feb 2013

A pair of muscular-looking V-Twin cruisers sit on a dais in front of a dramatically lit backdrop as attractive female brand representatives greet guests, answer questions and pose for pictures. This scene is fairly commonplace at convention centers during the motorcycle show season, but Moto Guzzi is taking the scenario to a new location: airports. Moto Guzzi is bringing the motorcycle show experience to select airports in Europe to promote its new California 1400 models.
