Ace Mallot,legendary Moto Guzzi mechanic rebuilt this bikes engine while working at Jackson Cycle in Missouri a few years ago.Ace is well known around the national Guzzi world.Ace at one time was a member of the MG Cycle Vintage race one knows Moto Guzzis better than Ace.Offered here is a 1975 Moto Guzzi 850 T.Not a collection of new reproduction parts but a painstaking restoration rechroming and retainining as many original parts as possible.Original Italian Borani wheels.Professionally painted tank an side covers are beautiful as pictures indicate.The soul of this ole Guzzis is still intact .She is electric start and fires up quickly after setting for several months.New mufflers are Moto Guzzi and correct for this bike.Many people look at this bike and think its brand new.No its 40 plus years old.The aluminum pieces and engine are not over polished and have a slight patina.I have the original riders manual that will go to the new owner.If you ever wanted a classic Italian motorcycle look at the pictures very carefully.The engine has less than 10 miles on it since Ace worked his magic on the it.I will look at all serios offers.You can text me at 9184293504 Thanks

Piaggio Reports Q1 2013 Results

The Piaggio Group reported an 11.6% drop in net sales for the first quarter of 2013, the result of a struggling economy and unseasonably cold weather in Europe and a flatlining two-wheeler market in Vietnam. There was however some good news in North America, Vespa sales in India and a 27.8% increase in Moto Guzzi sales. According to the company’s first quarter report, Piaggio reported net sales of 303.4 million euros (US$396.8 million), down from net sales of 343.1 million euros reported the same quarter of 2012.

2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase

The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.

1954 AJS E95 May Fetch Upwards of $750K in August Pebble Beach Auction

This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.
