Kawasaki ZL 600 Eliminator description
NO RESERVE!!! HIGHEST BID WINS!!! Up for sale is this 1986 Kawasaki ZL600 Eliminator motorcycle. This Kawasaki is being sold by Smith Motor Company Inc. in McCormick, S.C. The bike is being sold as-is and buyer will be responsible for pickup or shipping. Buyers in S.C. will have to pay 5% sales tax on total purchase price. $200 deposit due within 24 hours of auction ending. Total payment due within 7 days of auction ending. I will describe the bike in as much detail as I can. If you have any further questions please contact me. Cosmetically it is in overall good shape. There is slight damage on the left side of the tank as seen in pictures. Both left side signal lamps are secured by electrical tape and may need to be replaced. Tires are in great shape with no dry rot. All indicators and gauges work. The bike starts up and sounds great. However, after idling for about 5-7 minutes, the bike cuts off and wont start back until it sits and cools down for about 20 minutes. I am not sure what is causing this and could be something very minor. Again this bike is being sold at NO RESERVE and the highest bid will win. No personal checks and no international buyers please. Thank you. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY PLEASE! |

RoboCop Remake Has RoboCop Riding A Motorcycle
Mon, 15 Oct 2012The semi-futuristic 1987 film, “RoboCop,” starring actor Peter Weller, told the tale of fatally injured Detroit cop effectively resurrected to life, but in the form of mostly metal, cyborg-like being. RoboCop was the ultimate crime-fighting tool, and the public loved the premise of the movie to the tune of two sequels, lots of merchandising and even a short-lived television series. “RoboCop” has been resurrected again, the film that is, and is currently shooting in Toronto according to the Daily Mail. And as you can see by these images from the Daily Mail, RoboCop is now fighting crime on two wheels.
BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates
Tue, 03 Jan 2012In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
2014 WSBK – Sepang Results
Mon, 09 Jun 2014The first ever World Superbike round in Malaysia offered a plenty of drama including both factory Kawasaki riders crashing out on the first lap, a red flagged second race and an overall impressive outing by Aprilia. Under pressure for his lack of results so far this season, Marco Melandri impressed, earning the double for his first career wins on the RSV4 Factory. Aprilia riders led every lap in both races at Sepang, including the red-flagged initial start for Race 2, with Sylvain Guintoli joining his teammate on the podium with a pair of second-place finishes.
