2014 Kawasaki VULCAN 1700 VOYAGER ABS, Who says you can???t have a well-deserved attitude and still be practical? Owners of a Vulcan?? 1700 Vaquero?? bagger have the best of both worlds. The traffic stopping good looks will make you smile every time you throw a leg over this blacked beauty. A frame-mounted, abbreviated fairing sets the stage while the swoopy tank leads the eye to the shapely luggage of this V-twin bagger. The multi-textured blacked-out engine and chassis treatment includes components (like the air-cleaner cover, wheels, fork assembly and tank cover) that would normally be chromed, leaving only a special few parts (engine guards, exhaust, mirrors, etc.) to receive plating and act as bright accents to either the Metallic Flat Spark Black or Two-tone Candy Burnt Orange (SE model) paint.

2013-2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Faces More Brake Issues
Mon, 09 Dec 2013Earlier this year, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 was one of several models impacted by a recall on Nissin anti-lock brake system modulators. The fault for that problem clearly lay with Nissin, as the same issue affected other motorcycles from several manufacturers. The little Ninja might not be out of the wood yet however, as other brake-related issues have come up.
2012 Kawasaki Versys 1000 Makes North American Debut in Canada
Wed, 11 Jan 2012As we’ve previously reported, the new Kawasaki Versys 1000 will not be imported to the U.S, but it will be available in North America in Canada as a 2012 model. Kawasaki Canada presented the Versys 1000 at its display at this past weekend’s North American International Motorcycle Supershow in Toronto, for the new “adventure sport” model’s debut on this side of the Atlantic. While he can’t speak for Kawasaki USA’s decision making, Bob Calwell, district manager for Kawasaki Canada, he does note that the Canadian company does have a history of making different product selections.
Classic Japanese Bikes Highlight Bonhams’ Next Auction
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.
