This Vulcan 900 is the classic model that has all the equipment of the LT model plus some extras, including windshield, deluxe gel seat with back rest and luggage rack, leather saddle bags, engine guard with foot rests, Road House 2 into 1 exhaust, grips, floorboards and more. Comes with original owners manual and shop repair manual, quality cover and trickle charger. Bike is in excellent condition, has never been wrecked or laid down. I am the second owner and have always taken very good care of it, as it was welled care for when I bought it 6 years ago. I'm getting older now and it's time for someone else to enjoy it. Thu, 11 Aug 2011If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
2014 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 Spied in Norway
Tue, 20 Aug 2013Spy photographers have captured images in Norway from a video shoot for what appears to be an updated Kawasaki Ninja 1000. The images show two riders on an updated Ninja 1000 (or Z1000SX, as the bike is known in Europe). The saddlebags indicate this is the Z1000SX Touring variant offered in Europe, but the rest of the motorcycle is otherwise similar to the Ninja 1000 (which, by and by, won our 2011 Gentleman Sportbike Shootout over the Suzuki GSX1250FA and Yamaha FZ1.) The new Ninja 1000 doesn’t look much different from the 2013 model, apart from the new paint job.
WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report
Mon, 30 Sep 2013Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
