This Vulcan 900 is the classic model that has all the equipment of the LT model plus some extras, including windshield, deluxe gel seat with back rest and luggage rack, leather saddle bags, engine guard with foot rests, Road House 2 into 1 exhaust, grips, floorboards and more. Comes with original owners manual and shop repair manual, quality cover and trickle charger.  Bike is in excellent condition, has never been wrecked or laid down.  I am the second owner and have always taken very good care of it, as it was welled care for when I bought it 6 years ago.  I'm getting older now and it's time for someone else to enjoy it.  Prefer local sale, but shipping will be sole responsibility of purchaser. Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.

Kawasaki-Supported Zytek ZX10ev TT Zero Electric Racer

British Superbike race team Bournemouth Kawasaki and electric powertrain maker Zytek Automotive will compete in the 2012 TT Zero on the Isle of Man with an electric ZX-10R with support from Kawasaki UK. The Zytek-Kawasaki ZX10ev uses the chassis of a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and an oil-cooled Zytek permanent magnet electric motor. Zytek is a race-proven electric powertrain supplier, though its expertise is primarily with cars.
