2013 Long Beach International Motorcycle Show Report

Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show. After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. Update: Bike Stolen On ‘Round The World Adventure Recovered!

Martin Williams, the man who had his motorcycle stolen halfway through his trip around the world, has been reunited with his Kawasaki. A man walking his dog one morning spotted the bike and reported it to authorities. Williams was obviously elated to get his bike back, but the thieves unfortunately had their way with it before it was recovered.

Shakeup In The Kawasaki Media Relations Department

The public relations team at Kawasaki Motors Corporation led by Kevin Allen, Manager, PR + Brand Experience, has a new structure. Brad Puetz has been promoted to the position of Media Relations Supervisor and will be responsible for developing and implementing new public relations activities and new model launches. Greg Lasiewski will join the Advertising team as Senior Brand Communication/Sponsorship Specialist, managing the development and implementation of sponsorship, lifestyle and marketing programs for KMC.
